Wake Forest University

Distinctively Wake

Our live online session is a conversation where you can engage with Wake Forest University admissions representatives and a current student. These 45-minute live online sessions will be offered once a week and will alternate between Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Dean’s Corner

Dean’s Corner is hosted by the Dean of Admissions, Karen Vargas, who will address a topic of the month, on the first Thursday of each month. You’ll be able to submit your question for the topic of the month when you register; then, we’ll answer them for you and take questions live through the chat feature. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes.

The International Hour

If you’re a student from outside the United States, please consider joining us to discuss any questions you might have with Niki McInteer, our Associate Dean of Admissions who works specifically with international applicants. This session is not a structured presentation; instead, we’re hoping that you will come ready to engage with the Office of Admissions to learn more about Wake Forest from an international perspective. If you have specific questions about applying as an applicant from abroad, this is the space to find answers.

On-Campus Information Sessions and Student-Led Campus Tours

We are pleased to offer on-campus information sessions followed by walking tours led by student guides!

You can choose between a morning or afternoon session and tour on Mondays and Fridays.

Student-led tours – without the information session – are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the morning and afternoon.

You will need to adhere to the following guidelines while visiting campus:

  • All visitors to campus must wear a mask indoors at all times, regardless of vaccination status.
  • For those with specific health concerns, please know that the 3:00 p.m. tour, though outdoors, will have a mask requirement. All participants of the 3:00 p.m. tour will be required to wear a mask throughout the tour. We reserve the right to begin requiring masks for the duration of the 11:00 a.m. tours.
  • The tours will take you around campus. You will remain outside the buildings but learn about them.

You must register for the information session and tour. Space is limited! Register by visiting the calendar below.

Please note, due to the possibility of changes in campus operations, the University may suspend information sessions and tours. If this affects your visit, you will be notified by email.

Finally, if you need accommodations for an event, please contact Dawn Calhoun at calhoude@wfu.edu or 336-758-5177 five business days in advance.

We are delighted you will be visiting Wake Forest University! We look forward to seeing you!
